… something from the history…
Company PATRON was founded in 1994 in the town of Melnik, small provincial town just 40 km north from Prague. Enterprise originally started under the name of PATRON Reha-technik as the local retail and service centre for disabled and elderly people. In late 90’s company started to build national distribution network for the distribution of full range of specialised medical equipment (medical devices). In 1997 company launched its first products, rehabilitation aids, mostly aids with individual modification and assembly works. In 1999 PATRON acquired local producer of medical devices, enlarged production property and introduced integrated production of its own products. Turn of the millennium reached the company in the state of rapid changes. Company changed the name to PATRON Bohemia a.s. Company as well established divisional structure, when opening new division - Division BABY. Company took advantage of the fact that the Melnik-district is very well known as the traditional place of baby equipment production to develop and produced its first collection of classical prams, strollers and joggers. In 2001 PATRON reached another milestone. To satisfy gradually extending production and distribution company moved into new premises. This facilities included among others as well as the new chassis full production, paint-shop, sewing department, assembly hall, QC, warehouse, etc. Company shortly became one of the biggest manufactures of rehab products and baby equipment in the Czech Republic. Thanks to the gradual and fast development the company grew to its current shape. Production and warehousing area covers over 10.000m2. Daily more than hundred of employees fulfil hundreds of orders from all around the world. Our products are distributed into more than 25 countries of all continents and exports makes more than 70% of entire production. PATRON became respected company in its field, where the high level and fully functional design, high level of quality and especially good flexibility in combination of orders according to the customer’s requests became our great competitive advantage.
…What we have achieved…
All products of company PATRON Bohemia a.s. fulfils all legally requested standards and conditions, as well as widely requested EC Council Directive regulation no. 93/42/EEC. The production process was certified by TUV in 2002. Design and production is focused to the high technical level of products, high level and fully functional design, high level of quality and especially good flexibility in combination of orders according to the customer’s requests. Thanks to the high quality and technical level of our products we have been awarded by number of prices on the shows and exhibitions. Our mission is focused on complex care for handicapped people, as well as for the infants on professional basis. We co-operate with the best specialists of those branches from the whole Czech Republic and from foreign countries as well for many years. Those achieved awards and high interest in our new products persuade us about the right direction of our development. The knowledge, especially from positioning and fixing of an occupant, are entirely used in a development of new products to achieve the best results and customers satisfaction.

Company PATRON support a number of social and charitable projects. PATRON cooperates on the long-term bases with numerous foundations, such a CHARTA 77 foundation, Konto BARIERY, etc. Company supports directly local professional care-centres for disabled people. Company as well runs its own donation programs, such a “PATRON's Pouch” with mission to help handicapped young citizens in their efforts to live life to the full within society.
